  • Situated on the banks of the beautiful and holy river Yamuna, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, is an ancient city. Along with its old charm, it is also one of the most important religious destinations in India. Mathura and Vrindavan are lined by temples, ancient ghats, and countless stories of Lord Krishna, who is said to be born in Mathura.
  • The place invites devotees from far and wide. Tuk Tuk (autos) are readily available in the whole city, which might take you to different temples and eateries of Mathura and Vrindavan.

Nand Mahal, Gokul:  Nand Mahal is at a distance of nearly 12 kilometres from Janmasthan. It is believed that Lord Krishna spent his childhood days here with Nand Maharaj and Yashoda (Foster parents to Lord Krishna). You can also roam in the Nand Galiya, where there are beautifully painted walls. (Duration- 30 to 45 Minutes approx)
At a walking distance of about 5-7 minutes, you can roam around in the Nand Chowk and its Galiya. Here you can feel the authentic old charm of Gokul along with some delicious street food like Ghee Paratha-Sabzi, Kachori, Rabri, Lassi, etc.

Ramanreti- Proceed towards Ramanreti. Situated at around 3 kilometres from Nand Mahal, it is the place where Lord Krishna, along with Balarama and their friends, are believed to spend their childhood days playing with each other. Here you can be astonished by seeing people of all age groups rolling and playing in the sand. The reason is that it is said that Lord Krishna used to play and roll in the sand here, so the devotees make sure the sand touches their bodies.

One more important and most beautiful thing about this place is that it has a Deer park outside Ramanreti.

Most of the temples are closed between 1 pm to 4 pm, so you can go shopping Poshak for your  Lord Krishna’s idols at your home at the market near Banke Bihari Temple. To reach this place in Vrindavan you will be travelling about 25 km distance, There you can shop for photo frames of Shri Krishna that are available in different sizes.

  • Surabhi Retreat or Khusboo Restaurant near Banke Bihari Temple.
  • Jaipuria Bhawan – This place is a Dharamshala located at a distance of 200 meters from Shri Bankey Bihari Temple, they serve nice Satvik Bhojan at a cost of Rs 170 per person.

Nidhivan - Nidhivan is a garden where Lord Krishna is believed to visit and conduct his Ras Leela every night. After the evening aarti, which finishes by 7 pm, they lock the entire premises so that nobody can enter this place.
