  • Visit Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra. This is a cultural institution in Assam that houses a museum and a library. An open-air theatre also hosts traditional dance and drama performances. It is about 1 km from the above-mentioned breakfast location.
  • Umananda Temple is a Shiva temple, located at the Umananda Island (Peacock Island) on the Brahmaputra River. The island can be accessed from Guwahati by ferries and steamers from Fancybazar Ghat or Uzanbazar Ferry Ghat.

Day 3 Chandubi lake

Reach Chandubi Lake. This is a natural lake in the Kamrup district of Assam, around 65 km from Guwahati. The area, covered by deep forest and small villages, offers natural beauty. It attracts bird-watchers and jungle photographers from all parts of India.
