Day 1 – Bhubaneswar, Lingaraj Temple
After check-in at your hotel, you can head out for lunch or dinner, depending upon the time you reach Bhubaneswar.

Lingaraj Temple – One of the ancient temples representing the great Kalinga architecture, the temple is open only to the entry of Hindu devotees. Non-Hindus can see the temple from an elevated platform outside the temple premises.

Day 2 - Bhubaneswar to Berhampur (175 KM)
With a long road journey ahead of you, you might need to make an early start to the day, preferably at 7 AM.
- Mangalajodi Bird Sanctuary (67 KM) – This place on Chilika Lake is full of marshes, which become the perfect spots for birds from all over the world to come here, nest and breed. During the winter season, more than 230 bird species call Mangalajodi their home.

Rambha - Make a stop at the southernmost point of Chilika lake (130 KM), where you can get boat to the nearby islands as well. If you are planning to stay at Berhampur for the night, you must resist from spending too much time here.

Gopalpur Beach - One of the cleanest beaches in India (40 KM from Rambha) -
- You can do water sports activities at Gopalpur beach.
Travel to Berhampur which is about 16 km.
- Tara Tarini Shaktipeeth, one of the four major Shaktipeeths in the country, is 30 KM from Berhampur.
- Overnight stay at Berhampur.
Day 3 - Berhampur to Rayagada (200 KM)
This will be a long road journey ahead; therefore, an early start (around 7 am) would be a good idea.
- Breakfast at Berhampur - Samal tiffin Centre – Their Masala Upma Poori with Tarkari (vegetable curry) is a popular breakfast item.
Bada Bazar – In one of the main markets, you will get to explore the local street food & a variety of Pickles & Papad. In several of the pickle shops, you will get to sample upto a 100 varieties of pickles.
Silk Cooperative Societies - Berhampur is quite popular for production of Silk Sarees. You can contain one or two such societies to see how a silk saree is produced.
Lunch at Digapahandi:
- Padhi Hotel - Sample their popular dishes like Aloo Tamatar khatta/Aloo Potala Rasa. This restaurant is 30 km from Berhampur, enroute to Rayagada.
Taptapani (60 KM from Digapahandi) is a famous temple with a hot water spring next to it.
- Night Stay at Rayagada. We chose to stay at the Sai International Hotel.
Day 4 - Rayagada to Koraput (110 km)
Have breakfast at hotel in Rayagada.
Tribal market visit – A tribal market is held every day of the week around Rayagada but the location keeps on changing every day. We visited the market at Chatikona on a Wednesday. Chatikona is 40 KM from Rayagada.
Gadgada Falls & Shiv temple (4 KM from Chatikona) – This place is a Shiv temple and the waterfall is located next to the temple. You can enjoy the Falls after a visit to the temple.
- Maa MajhigharianiTemple - This temple in Rayagada is dedicated to Goddess Durga.
Hanging bridge - Built on the Nagavali River, the view from the bridge is mesmerizing. You can spend 1-2 hours at Rayagada, visiting this bridge.
- If you are free by 2 pm, proceed to Koraput or else you can choose to stay back at Rayagada. Rayagada to Koraput is a distance of 110 KM.
- Night stay at Koraput.

Day 5 Koraput in & around sightseeing (110 KM)
This will be a long road journey ahead; therefore, an early start (around 7 am) would be a good idea.
- Breakfast – You can have your breakfast at a roadside dhaba or a hotel on your way to Koraput.
Deomali Hills – This is the highest Peak in Odisha and quite famous for its natural beauty. Despite that, the place is comparatively unexplored.
Shri Hanuman Temple - At Damanjodi (50 KM from Deomali Hills), this temple is known for a tall statue of Lord Hanuman, which is visible from a distance.

Kolab Dam & Botanical Garden (20 KM from Bus Stand) – This well maintained Garden & large reservoir offer amazing natural view.
- Rani Duduma Falls (40 KM from Damanjodi) – This place is popular among tourists for the beautiful waterfalls.

Day 6 - Koraput to Jeypore (150 KM)
This will be a long road journey ahead; therefore, an early start (around 7 am) would be a good idea.
- Breakfast – One of the famous breakfast options in Koraput is a street food stall opposite to the Koraput Bus Stand. It serves delicious Poori-Upma and Idli.
Shri Jagannath Temple (1 KM from Bus Stand) – Unlike the Puri Jagannath Temple, people of all faiths can visit this temple. It is located inside the Sabar-Srikhetra.

Koraput Coffee Garden (5 KM from Jagannath Temple) - You can explore this coffee garden if you are a coffee connoisseur or otherwise.
Gupteshwar Temple – This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is about 70 KM from Coffee Garden.

On your way back from the Gupteshwar Temple, you can also stop at the Saveri River to enjoy a natural view.
- Duduma Falls (70 KM) – These are giant-sized waterfalls offer a mesmerizing scenic view to the tourists.

Street Food – In Jeypore, you will get to enjoy the local street food at a lot of food joints, especially during the evening time.

Day 7 - Jeypore to Gopalpur (370 KM)
If you reach Gopalpur while there is still sunlight, you can enjoy a relaxing stroll by the beach and enjoy the sunset.

Day 8 - Gopalpur to Bhubaneswar (170 KM)
Travel to Bhubaneswar.
